What materials are used for the Welcome Pod?
The Welcome Pod uses a blend of cotton and bamboo fibers as well as 3D mesh for proper thermoregulation of your baby.

Is the Welcome Pod safe for my baby to sleep in?
No, the Welcome Pod is not a sleeping device and cannot be used for naps, rather the pod can be used for supervised downtime as well as tummy and playtime. No baby lounger/nest can be used for sleep in the US.

What ages is the Welcome Pod used for?
The Welcome Pod can be used from birth up to 8 months.

Why does the Welcome Pod come unziped at the bottom?
There are two reasons the Welcome Pod unzips at the bottom, first it is essential for tummy time exercises which will strengthen your baby leading to proper physiological development. Second, this also helps to accomodate your baby as they grow.

Does the Welcome Pod contain regulated BPA, BPS, PFAs, lead, phthalates, flame retardants, methyl biphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) or TDCPP?
The Welcome Pod does not contain any regulated BPA, BPS, PFAs, lead, phthalates, flame retardants, methyl biphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) or TDCPP, just like all Inglesina products.

Can the Welcome Pod be washed in the washing machine?
Yes, the Welcome Pod can be washed in the washing machine on delicate cycle wash (65°F–85°F / 30°C) with low spin speed.

What is the difference between the US version of the Welcome Pod and the overseas version?
In order to comply with US regulations and standards, the Welcome Pod in the US is shallower on all sides and cannot be used as a sleeping device.
